Overcrowded D gates

When traveling to Seattle-Tacoma airport you need to know that it is located approximately 13 miles (21 km) south of Downtown Seattle. I have always used the Light Rail which you can take from the airport for just $3 one way and in 45 min you are in downtown Seattle. Travelled on Alaska airlines via D gates area. The security check point was not crowded and I passed relatively quickly. I did not find the airport to be quite clean, and nor did I see any cleaning staff maintaining cleanliness while there. WiFi connection did not give troubles on my phone and it was spotty. It is free. However, I found terminal access flight information to be somewhat harder to manage. Especially, the fact that at the D gates area where I was arriving and departing were very overcrowded. Definitely, there was not enough seating for passengers. For instance, my departing was delayed. So, the entire bulk of passengers for the flight were at the gate and since there wasn’t enough space they were overflowing in the walkways of the Terminal becoming an obstacle for other passengers trying to pass by.

Very Friendly Airport

Great airport. It is linked with Seattle via a train that will cost you pennies compared to a cab. Lots of distinctions and the food is really tasty. Prices are expected as for every other major airport. Be aware of congested terminals and common areas. The airport get really packed in the mornings especially. Free WiFi.
