Reviews: Writing Reviews

  • We welcome reviews about your travel that are solely based on your personal, fist-hand experience. Discovery by us of any affiliation to the property, the company, or the place you’re reviewing, will result in the removal of your review(s) from our website.
  • All reviews are subject to editorial approval before publishing. Once you send us your review, it becomes a TargetMyTravel.com property, but rest assured, it will not be shared or used by any other individual or entity, and it is only to tell the world about your travel experiences.

Reviews: Step-By-Step

  1. Log-in to the website.
  2. Use the search bar on the Home page to find the listing for which you’d like to post a review.
  3. Click on “Write Review” button and fill out the review form.

Reviews: Multiple Reviews

There is no restriction on how many reviews you can write for one listing. You are welcome to create subsequent reviews as long as they are on a different date from your last visit or personal experience.

Reviews: Wrong Reviews

If you submitted a review by mistake to the wrong lasting, use the Contact us form to let us know and we will fix it.

Reviews: Editing

You will not be able to edit your review after submission. Use the Contact us form to provide a link to the review in question and to explain what went wrong.

Reviews: Posting

After submitting your review we will post it within 24 hours. You will get an email notification when it is posted. All review postings are subject to approval. If we cannot publish your review, we will notify you. 

Reviews: Verification

In rare cases we could ask for more information to verify the authenticity of your review. Please, respond to us promptly within 24 hours. Not responding may result of your review submission to remain unpublished until you respond. All review submissions are subject to approval.

Reviews: Expiration

Your review will never expire. If you want your review to be removed from our website for any reason, please Contact us. We may remove your review at any time, if we find it violates our User Agreement

Reviews: Privacy

We do not disclose contact information. If anyone wants to contact you about your review, they will use the option to Comment provided under each review. You will not be notified about comments to your reviews. For more information see our Privacy Policy.

Listings: General

A listing is an individual web page containing information about properties and places. A listing may include information about a company with location and other details including photos and videos. If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website Submitting a Listing.

Listings: Step-By-Step

To submit a new listing:

  1. Search: Type the name of the listing (hotel, airport, airline, ect.) in the Search bar on the website home page (www.targetmytravel.com) to see if the Listings exists. The Search looks into all listings in all categories. If the Listing is published on our website it will appear in a dropdown display field below the Search bar.
  2. Look for Search Results: If the Listings doesn’t exists, in a dropdown display field below the Search bar, you will see the message: We did not find what you are looking for. Tell us about it by Submitting a new Listing.
  3. Publish: Click on Submitting a new Listing and follow the onscreen instructions. You must be logged-in to submit a new Listing.

 

Listings: Claim a Listing

The Listing Claim functionality makes it possible for users of the website to request permission to become owners of a certain listing or listings to be able to update these listings with additional information. Use the Claim This Listing button located on top of the listing page to submit your request. We must verify that your claim is legitimate. Providing:

  • a company email, or
  • a listing of your information on your company official website

are accepted forms of verification.

We may require you to provide additional information to prevent spam. After we approve the Claim, you become the owner of the listing and able to modify or update it. Upon approval or denial of your listing claim, you will receive an email from us.

Listings: Categories

We list the following categories: Airlines and Airports.

  • Airlines: To be listed as an Airline, you must have a verifiable official website in the English language;
  • Airports: To be listed as an Airport, you must have a verifiable official website in the English language.

Listings: Updates

To update a listing you posted:

  1. Log-in to My Profile in the upper right corner of the webpage
  2. Go to My Listings

Listings: Misrepresentation of Information

We welcome reviews and listing submissions from all of our website users. However, in order to insure the trustworthiness of the information we present, some minimum requirements must be met:\

  • It is not allowed to obtain contact information about our website users who’ve posted undesirable reviews in order to intimidate them or force them to request a removal of such reviews.
  • Soliciting our website users under any form or condition is strictly prohibited.
  • Refrain from copying other users’ reviews and posting them as yours as we will delete such reviews.
  • Posting reviews on other people’s behalf is not allowed. We value only fist-hand experiences.
  • Submitting reviews by means of professional marketing companies or organizations, or third parties is prohibited, and it may lead to the suspension the user account or accounts the reviews come from as well as the deletion of such reviews.
  • Owners, employees, and/or persons with any interests in a company are prohibited from reviewing said business. Doing so may lead to the suspension and removal of such user accounts, account information, postings, listings, and reviews.

User Accounts: Create an Account/Profile

To create a new profile:

  1. Go to My Profile in the upper right corner of the webpage
  2. Click on Create an account

User Accounts: Delete my Profile

  1. Go to Contact us.
  2. Fill out the form.
  3. In the Subject field write “Delete Account”
  4. Click Send Email.

Your account will be deleted in the next 24 hours. Once your account has been deleted, you will no longer have access to your listings, reviews, or other postings on the website. Deleting your user account will not delete your listings, reviews, or other postings.

User Accounts: Edit my Profile

You can change you profile information, upload a picture for your profile (avatar), and set your forum settings by editing your profile:

  1. Go to My Profile in the upper right corner of the webpage and log-in
  2. From the drop down My Profile menu, click on My Profile
  3. In the Blue bar where it reads Profile for {followed by your user name}, click on EDIT

Facebook Apps: General

On the Affiliation page, you will find several Facebook applications to put on your personal or business Facebook page. Use the “Add to FB Page” button for each individual app and follow the onscreen instructions. In addition, The Facebook Help Center provides detailed information on the Facebook apps. 

Facebook Apps: Adding an App to your Facebook Page

  1. Go to Affiliation > Affiliation type 1.
  2. Chose the App you want to add
  3. Click on the Add to FB Page button.
  4. You will be redirected to Facebook (requires Facebook log-in).
  5. Choose to which of your Facebook pages (if you have more then one page) you want to add the App. When you view the App for the first time, you will be able to adjust its settings. You may readjust these setting later as well.
  6. Click Save and view the tab that will appear on your Facebook page to see the App information.

Mobile Apps: Android and Apple platforms

Even though our website is fully compatible with mobile devices, you can take advantage of our easy-to-use mobile applications (apps) for Android and Apple smart phones. The Apps are available to download for free on the Google Paly Store and the Apple Store. Both Apps are advertisement free. We work continuously to improve your app experience by adding or advancing new or current features. Thus, updates to our apps will be frequent. Make sure you have the most updated app on your smart phone to take full advantage of new features. Leave us feedback within your respective app store and we’ll be quick to respond.
